What We Do
Continence Care Northland is a nurse-led service providing personalised assessment, education, and practical support for bladder and bowel health. Care is delivered in a clinic setting, at home, or via telehealth, with a strong focus on dignity, safety, and evidence-based practice.
We support people of all ages with continence concerns that may affect daily life, confidence, and wellbeing. Appointments are unhurried and tailored to individual needs, goals, and circumstances.

Referrals are welcomed from GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals. With your consent, we liaise closely with your healthcare team and arrange onward referral when further medical input, investigation, or specialist care is required.

Working alongside your healthcare team

My practice is grounded in patient-centred, evidence-based care, guided by the principles of Tāngata i te Tuatahi (People First), Whakaute (Respect), Whakawhitiwhiti Kōrero (Communication), and Te Hiranga (Excellence). I aim to create a calm, safe space where bladder and bowel concerns can be discussed openly and without judgement.

Bladder or bowel concerns can feel overwhelming, isolating, and hard to talk about. Compassionate, nurse-led support is available to help you understand your symptoms, explore practical options, and feel more confident managing your care.
