Urgent Continence Telehealth Support
Timely clinical guidance when continence issues arise
Service Description
Urgent continence telehealth support provides prompt clinical guidance for individuals experiencing sudden or worsening bladder or catheter-related concerns when in-person care is not immediately available. Support may include assessment and troubleshooting of catheter-related issues, guidance for acute bladder symptoms, education around immediate self-care steps, and safety-net advice. Where appropriate, recommendations may include escalation to in-person review with a GP, specialist, or emergency services. This service does not replace emergency care but supports informed decision-making, continuity of care, and timely access to appropriate services. Telehealth appointments are delivered via secure phone or video consultation. Please note: this service provides clinical guidance and education only. Medications, prescriptions, procedures, medical supplies, and emergency services are not included.
