Service Description

Home visit appointments are available for individuals who prefer or require continence care in their own environment. This service supports people with mobility limitations, complex health needs, post-procedure recovery, or those who feel more comfortable receiving care at home. Home visits can be provided for continence assessments, catheter care, education appointments, troubleshooting, and selected follow-up services, depending on clinical suitability. Care is delivered with the same professional standards, discretion, and evidence-based approach as clinic appointments. Home visits are also available for short-term accommodation, including holiday homes or temporary residences, where appropriate. Please note: home visit appointments incur an additional fee of $40–$60 within the Whangārei district (approximately within 40 km of Whangārei city, including areas such as Waipu) to cover travel time and service delivery. Outside-district fees apply for further destinations and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
